Downloads and streaming of music may be on the rise, but good old fashioned vinyl is making a comeback. Vinyl albums do still only account for 1% of all sales, but the rise in sales has been quite a jump – in the US sales of vinyl albums has risen by a staggering third from 2 million to 3 million, not to be sniffed at. Amazon UK has had to restock continually with one of the most popular sellers on vinyl – the new Florence + The Machine album, which won a Brit for Best Album last month. 7 inch singles have also noticed a boost in sales. So what about you guys out there, what do you prefer, vinyl or MP3s?
